Kate Spade meets Keds

Kate Spade meets Keds.

What a super cute mash-up of brands.

Daily Covet: Kate Spade Darla Sandal

Is it summer yet?

I’m ready for sandals.  How about Kate Spade Darla Sandals to be exact?  These are absolutely the cutest with all the colors of the rainbow and natural-colored pantent straps.  Three patent straps that I absolutely love.  This is a great update from similar sandals last summer and I love the new look.

I know we’ve got a long way to go, but I’m needing to pump my collection of cute wedges, flip flops, maxi dresses, handbags and accessories.

Why?  Because I will be spending the summer (all or most of it) pregnant.  Yep, you heard it here… and here for a twist on the news… that this girl will be putting high fashion on hold in favor of roomy (and tent-like) clothing.  But I digress…

Let’s just take a look and a drool at these pretties!

Daily Covet: Kate Spade Merino Fingerless Gloves

I’m a sucker for winter accessories.

While the three boys in my life share a basket of warm hats, gloves, mittens and scarves, I have my own.

Stocking caps, berets, scarves, snoods and more fill my cup… er basket, to overflowing.

Last winter when I replaced a too big winter puffer coat, I picked a charcoal gray one.  I’ve been collecting fun and brightly-colored accessories ever since.  And that’s why these Kate Spade fingerless merino gloves are on my list.

Of course, I love the turqoise blue color and the whimsical dot print.  I also like they they are long, just in case I want to wear them with shorter sleeves or push them up inside my coat for warmth.

Daily Covet: Kate Spade Champagne Flutes

Nothing says “cheers” better than champagne flutes.

And these Kate Spade “Say the Word” flutes literally say, Cheers.  And Pop.  And Fizz.  And Clink too!

To top them off — or more appropriately — finish them off, these champagne flutes have handpainted, multicolored bases.

With the holidays approaching, Kate Spade’s champagne flutes are both a great gift and a great way to entertain.

Cheers!

Daily Covet: Kate Spade Lea Coat

I love this Kate Spade Lea coat.

I love the retro shape.  I love the mod-ish print.  I  love that it’s easy in cotton with a touch of silk-blend pizzazz.  I adore the round neckline and mini collar.  And I’m smitten with how it’s shown here over something very short with black opague tights.

For a girl who adores toppers, this coat is definitely tops!

Daily Covet: Kate Spade iPhone Cover

iPhone covers… like I need another one.

But when this Kate Spade Garance Girl iPhone cover showed up in my twitter feed, with a little message about how it reminded my faraway friend of me… I suddenly felt my iPhone needed a new outfit toute suite!

Now, to disclaim… I do own a similar red coat, ankle strap heels and up until recently, a short blonde bob.  However, my legs, nor my neck, are that long.

But bless my dear friend for thinking ’bout me, in the first place!

Daily Covet: Women’s Laptop Bags

Hi y’all.  Sorry for the hiatus.  I’ve been a busy girl celebrating my birthday for most of the last week (as I tend to do every year)!

First, thanks to my wonderful family and all my girlfriends, who made my birthday so special this year.  Since “39″ is the last birthday I’ll admit to, it was great to make the most of it.

But now it’s time to get back to work (and back to my diet!), and that means I’m in the market for a new laptop bag.  I have a pretty simple black, quilted bag now, but the strap broke.  I’ve been carrying it around like a large and particularly cumbersome notebook.

So a new laptop bag is what I’m coveting today.

I’ve been scouring the Internet for possibilities, and have found some super cute options in all price ranges.  True to form, my favorite is the most expensive.

No ordinary Loafers

I went looking for glitter ballet flats.  I love how they look with plain old jeans and a t-shirt and thought it would be great “Mom Street Style.”  Comfortable.  Unexpected.  While I did find quite a few pairs of adorable flats, I fell in love with these glitter loafers more!

Leave glitter loafers to Kate Spade, friends.  Don’t like blue?  They come in black, gold and rose too!  And with a little bow tie to boot….er shoe.

Daily Covet: Easter Dress

We are just days from Easter, and this girl is thinking Easter dresses.  And since I have only boys, I get to buy easter dresses for me instead.

Easter is just one of those holidays that is fun to dress for.  It’s almost like dressing for the Kentucky Derby.  It calls to mind bright colors, feminine silhouettes, seersucker suits and let’s not forget, big hats with grosgrain ribbon.

Today, I’m posting some super cute, feminine and mostly bright dresses that I’d love to pair with my Eater bonnet.

What about you?  Do you like dressing for Easter?
