In a couple of weeks, I will have my first dance recital in 33 years.  

The dance school I attend allows the adult class to choose “costumes” from our closet, meaning we don’t have to buy cute, pink tu-tus  and pillbox hats with sequins.

My dancemates have chosen jeans and sequined tops for our tap number, and that immediately poses a problem. I either have long, boot-cut jeans that would hang madly over my tap shoes… or I have skinny jeans that I wouldn’t wear with a t-shirt (I need something a little longer and looser for balance.)   

So, I’m thinking a cute boyfriend jean rolled up with whatever top we decide, would be perfect for this year’s recital. This pair of midweight sexy boyfriend jeans from GAP are not only adorable, but easy on the budget too.

Looking Parisian-chic in stripes should be a cinch this season.  Anything and everything you could ever want can be found in stripes.  And this adorable blazer is no exception.  It has a great fit, it’s a great weight for spring and summer, and it looks great with every color under the sun.
