Look book from a favorite….

LesPommettes is eye candy for the fashionista.  I love visiting this site a couple times each week because they have such unique pieces, both apparel and accessories.  The jewelry is amazing, and the look book is always inspiring.

Here are a few more laid back looks for summer.  Lace, linen, stripes and girly hemlines are just a few of the fun details I look for in clothing… especially summer clothing! (All images from Lespommettes.com)

Daily Covet: Chevron & Lace

Ella Moss’ spring collection has a lot of easy knits and cotton, perfect for this stay-at-home mom’s laid back wardrobe.

I know I seem hooked on the maxi skirt, dress, whatever… but it’s just such a great way to showcase “Chevron!”

Daily Covet: Lululemon workout clothes to inspire workout

I’m sitting home with a cold this morning, and thinking about how long it’s been since I’ve worked out.  10 days to be exact.  The plague spread through my house, and left me untouched… but yesterday it hit me like a ton of bricks.

I jumped on LuluLemon’s website in the spirit of working out to see what cute things they have going on there.  I instantly clicked the skirts and  dresses link and found a super cute skort.  So cute, in fact, that it might actually inspire a workout.

And they also have great tanks in fun colors and unique styles.  So, I may as well throw an entire outfit into my virtual shopping cart, right?

Daily Covet: Home Library

We are seriously lacking in “stacks” around here.  My sons have a small bookshelf that holds the majority of their book collection.  Daddy and I?  Our books are lazily resting on every nightstand, dresser and coffee table in the house in their own messy stacks.

So when I got an email update from Houszz this morning, I fell in love with this miniature library that could’ve been no more than a larger closet previous to becoming the most awesome “reading room” in the house.

Now, if I only had a closet big enough in this 1925 Tudor to turn into my very own book-lover’s dream spot….

Daily Covet: Antonio Berardi

I saw this outfit on one of my favorite blogs, FashionScanner.onsugar.com, and just had to post it.

In fact, Antonio Berardi’s Fall Collection for 2012 is altogether pretty amazing.

I love all the rich fabrics and textures, and of course, I adore the color turquoise.  Don’t ask me where I would wear this, but it’d be nice to look at in my closet every day!

Daily Covet: Penny Loafer-ing Around

J. Crew Biella patent loafers in Casablanca Blue, jcrew.com $228

Loafers made a big comeback a few seasons ago, and these are a great spin on the classic penny variety.

J.Crew does them in “Casablanca Blue” and patent – obviously a fabulous combination.

Cute with skirts, shorts and ankle-length pants - these are a must-have for spring and summer!

Play up Feminine Flowers

I love these pants!  It’s so unlike me to pick super feminine prints.  I’m not usually one to be drawn to florals, but I think these are such a cute, classic cut.  And paired with a chambray tunic and poppy ballet flats, this is a have lunch with the girls outfit, a run errands with kids outfit, a hop on a plane outfit.  All things this stay-at-home-mom likes to do!

For shopping info, check me out at Polyvore.com.

Daily Covet: Ottoman hunt

A couple of years ago, I bought a toile-covered Bergère chair at an estate sale.  I think I paid $50 for the chair that needed a little TLC.  And it’s so comfortable and perfect, except for the fact that there is no matching ottoman to go with it.

Ballard Designs has this matching piece, but since I’d have to special order it in one of my favorite fabrics on earth – Danish linen – it would end up costing me $603.  Now I know I got the chair for almost nothing, but isn’t it sacriligious to let that much of deal end up costing me over $600?

I realize that cheap and French are oxymorons, but does anybody have a cheap French Bergère ottoman up for grabs?

Daily Covet: Bedding in the “Guest Room”

Last week was a big week.  My littlest son became roommates with my older son, and that means we have our guest room back.  And by guest room, I mean my old double bed that has the most amazing mattress on it that I have now adopted as my own again.

Several years ago, I bought really cute bedding for that room.  Tufted white comforter and shams from Target against dark furniture and pale green walls.  I also bought white sheets with navy blue bands and big navy European shams with modern white edges.

Puckering Duvet Set in white, Target.com $70-$80

I love the blue and navy combination, but I’d love to throw some bright green polka dot sheets for fun too.  At the time I set up this room, I couldn’t find these sheets.  I should probably snap them up, while the gettin’s good!

Dot-to-Dot Percale Bedding, garnethill.com $30-$44
