Look book from a favorite….

LesPommettes is eye candy for the fashionista.  I love visiting this site a couple times each week because they have such unique pieces, both apparel and accessories.  The jewelry is amazing, and the look book is always inspiring.

Here are a few more laid back looks for summer.  Lace, linen, stripes and girly hemlines are just a few of the fun details I look for in clothing… especially summer clothing! (All images from Lespommettes.com)

Daily Covet: Chevron & Lace

Ella Moss’ spring collection has a lot of easy knits and cotton, perfect for this stay-at-home mom’s laid back wardrobe.

I know I seem hooked on the maxi skirt, dress, whatever… but it’s just such a great way to showcase “Chevron!”

Daily Covet: Lululemon workout clothes to inspire workout

I’m sitting home with a cold this morning, and thinking about how long it’s been since I’ve worked out.  10 days to be exact.  The plague spread through my house, and left me untouched… but yesterday it hit me like a ton of bricks.

I jumped on LuluLemon’s website in the spirit of working out to see what cute things they have going on there.  I instantly clicked the skirts and  dresses link and found a super cute skort.  So cute, in fact, that it might actually inspire a workout.

And they also have great tanks in fun colors and unique styles.  So, I may as well throw an entire outfit into my virtual shopping cart, right?

Kids Coats

This jacket is from the super kid-chic brand, Morgan and Milo, and I’m in love with it!  I love navy and green both.  Together, it’s the perfect cold-weather combo!

And it’s a 2-in-1, twill parka and comfy puffer coat, which also makes it a 3-in-1… seasons that is!

A definite must have for my middle America kiddos.

Daily Covet: Antonio Berardi

I saw this outfit on one of my favorite blogs, FashionScanner.onsugar.com, and just had to post it.

In fact, Antonio Berardi’s Fall Collection for 2012 is altogether pretty amazing.

I love all the rich fabrics and textures, and of course, I adore the color turquoise.  Don’t ask me where I would wear this, but it’d be nice to look at in my closet every day!

Daily Covet: All that glitters is Swarovski

Gilt.com sent me my daily email of all their sales.  I usually make a quick run through on things I’m interested in, and a few pieces caught my eye this morning.

I love Swarovski.  I love that they are beautiful and affordable.  And I love that they regularly partner with other brands to produce one-of-a-kind pieces.  But today, I love these three pieces the most.  Simple, classic and a chance to wear some bling.

All hail the leather shift dress

It seems like leather shift dresses are been popping up everywhere.  From Zara last fall to Valentino this spring, leather comes in many styles and colors.  But no style more often than the shift, which is great for us short, non-super model types.

Here are a few photos of this great trend in women’s dressing, and one of those pieces that you can splurge on because undoubtedly, it will be “in style” forever!

Diane Von Furstenberg for GAPkids

I have fallen in love all over again with DVF this past year.  I’m not sure if I’ve just been more aware, or if she has really kicked it up a notch.  But the woman known originally for her knit wrap dresses, is now doing an extra special line for girls.

Finally, Function Meets Form in Sandals

Finally, sandals that are comfortable AND beautiful!

Here I am on the tail end of my 30′s (cough, cough) and it’s been eight whole years since I have daily, worn fabulous 4″ heels to work, while trotting around San Francisco’s financial district.

Where has the time gone?  And more importantly, where has my ability to wear beautiful shoes with leg-lengthening heels for extended periods of time gone?  I guess the old adage “use it, or lose it” applies rather well in this case.

So today, when I was lured in by an email from Piperlime.com to check out their sandal collection, I couldn’t resist.  Much to my surprise, brands like Sofft and Kork-Ease actually make really fashion-forward shoes these days!

Here are some of my picks:

Kork-Ease Sarah Regular Price, piperlime.com $165

YOU by Crocs Thrilita, piperlime.com $130

Indigo by Clarks Luna Comet, piperlime $110

Sofft Palaiseau, piperlime.com $115

Daily Covet: A New Affinity for the Romper

If you remember, several weeks ago, I scored myself the cutest sequined romper ever.  They called it a “playsuit”, but “romper” seems to be more common for the top-combined-with-shorts look.  This little Thakoon number in blue and white looks like such a fun, not to mention an easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy, outfit to wear for just about anything.

Date night with your best guy?  No problem.  Birthday party for your best friend?  No problem.  Girls’ Night Out with your best girls?  No problem.  Just make sure they are not all at the same venue.  And don’t forget to add statement-making jewelry and sky-high sandals for a very sexy, leggy look.
