Daily Covet: Give Me the Boot(s)!

It’s that time of year again.  The time of year when it’s still 5000 degrees out, and I start making my list for fall.

I do it every year.  And every year, the things I buy sit in my closet for months until it actually gets cool enough to wear something for fall.

Needless to say, I have started combing the virtual shoe department at Neimans, and although most of these are way out of this girl’s reach… I heart them anyway.

Take a look at some beautiful fall boot styles I would prefer not to live without…

Daily Covet: Love to Love Moschino

Moschino.  Always unexpected.

OMG!  I don’t even know what to do with myself right now!

I adore this bag.  Oversized?  Yes.  Practical.  No.

FUN, with a capital “F”?   Hell Yes!!

This Moschino handbag is so great.  I can just see the juxtaposition with tees and jeans and a blazer this fall.  And how about the classic, feminine style in flashy disco sequins?

Sadly, I can also see all the sequins falling off as I get in and out of the car fifty times a day with my children.  Grrrr…. I’m so wanting to “check out” in my virtual shopping cart right now.

Daily Covet: J. Crew in Retro Jade

J. Crew again?!

And the answer is YES! for a very good reason.

If you follow me on Pinterest or caught the post on handbags in my favorite color, you have probably picked up on the fact that I UH-DORE turquoise.    J.Crew sent me an email with their fall lookbook (Thanks J.Crew!) and says that I can even pre-order.

Of course, I had previously checked out pics from the J.Crew Fall 2012 show (see here), so I knew that I was going to be coveting half the store this season. (Is this different from any other season?)

My two favorites:  the Wool Cafe Capris in Retro Jade and the Tippie Sweater in Jade Snake Print.  J. Crew is calling it jade.  Green?

Nonetheless, both are completely drool-worthy!

Daily Covet: Personalized & Preppy Outdoor Entertaining

I love outdoor entertaining.  And it just so happens that our outdoor space happens to be the most perfect part of our living space.

Our red market umbrella and red Adirondack chairs, along with grass green iron table and dining chairs, pop against a bricked-in patio and plenty of normally lush landscaping.  Fun dishes, and of course table linens, are also imperative for great outdoor fêtes.

I decided to look for outdoor dining pieces on BoatmanGeller.com, and I couldn’t help bug oggle a few all of them!

But if you love anything personalized, check out the most amazing selection of fun prints.  The selection of stationary, melamine, desk accessories, phone accessories and more are in all in one place.

Take a gander at these scrumptious pieces and patterns…

Aaaannnd, a dear friend of mine runs a booming business called Mommy Wisdom, where you can order some of Boatman Geller’s cutest products!

Daily Covet: Tod’s handbag

Tod’s handbags are featured on MyHabit.com today.

And since I am bag-obssessed this week, you can bet I’ve already picked absolutely the most delish bag.

This white handbag with the khaki accents is a perfect bag for summer, and since global warming climate change has taken over this year, it may be pratical a lot longer than normal.

It would be an excellent carry-all for a busy mom.  And it’s also a great size for car trips or air travel too.  So, it’s not only a beautiful bag, but a smart bag too!

Daily Covet: Women’s Laptop Bags

Hi y’all.  Sorry for the hiatus.  I’ve been a busy girl celebrating my birthday for most of the last week (as I tend to do every year)!

First, thanks to my wonderful family and all my girlfriends, who made my birthday so special this year.  Since “39″ is the last birthday I’ll admit to, it was great to make the most of it.

But now it’s time to get back to work (and back to my diet!), and that means I’m in the market for a new laptop bag.  I have a pretty simple black, quilted bag now, but the strap broke.  I’ve been carrying it around like a large and particularly cumbersome notebook.

So a new laptop bag is what I’m coveting today.

I’ve been scouring the Internet for possibilities, and have found some super cute options in all price ranges.  True to form, my favorite is the most expensive.

Daily Covet: Dolce & Gabbana Handbags

Dolce & Gabbana handbags – and lots of ‘em – are my covet today.

A gaggle of Dolce & Gabbana handbags are featured on GILT.com today, and they are on “sale!”

Y’all know how I love me a good handbag, and have posted many during LBS.com’s tenure.  But this is one collection that makes it virtually impossible to settle on just one!

Here are some faves….

So daring that at first Parisian models refused to wear his design. However a dancer named Micheline Bernardini took on the challenge and became the first woman ever to wear a bikini, sparking a trend that would never end. The bikini has been ever-changing since it’s debut in the 1940′s, let’s take a trip down memory lane.

Contrary to the latest Sports Illustrated cover, not everyone is wearing tiny string bikinis. There are many different styles being worn today.  I love how there is no definition of the “now” bikini. They come in a variety of colors…
